Directory of Open Access Textbooks (DOAT)

Open-access books are defined as a textbook licensed under an open copyright license and made available online to be freely used by students, teachers, and members of the public. Open textbooks are a way to significantly reduce student textbook costs while giving instructors the flexibility to reformat and customize their course material. They are an affordable, flexible alternative to traditionally-published textbooks.

University of South Florida M3 Center presents this database for open access textbooks with hopes to help other educators from around the world.

If you published or know any open-access textbook that :

a) is openly available to public
b) it may appeal to other educators in the world (i.e. the topic applies to others)
c) it is offered in English

please fill out this form . We will post them on a regular basis
